Important information for ticketed events

If you are attending a ticketed experience at the Museum or SparkLab, please be aware of this important information.

In line with Queensland Government's COVID-Safe Roadmap to recovery, timed tickets are now essential to visiting the museum.

Terms & Conditions

But purchasing a ticket or season pass to Queensland Museum, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.


Sea Monsters

  • Please refer to seamonsters.qm.qld.gov.au for session times
  • Sea Monsters is a timed ticketed experience.
  • Your ticket entitles you to enter Sea Monsters from your session start time displayed on your ticket
  • Your ticket must be presented at the Sea Monsters entry on Level 3 of Queensland Museum to be validated for entry

Sea Monsters Season Pass

  • The Sea Monsters Season Pass is valid for multiple visits to Sea Monsters: Prehistoric Ocean Predators at Queensland Museum from 20 November 2020 – 3 May 2021
  • Sea Monsters Season Pass can only be used for Sea Monsters: Prehistoric Ocean Predators and cannot be used for events or other exhibitions. 
  • Sea Monsters Season Pass is for use by those listed on the back of the pass and is not transferable to others.

SparkLab

  • Please refer to www.qm.qld.gov.au/sparklab for opening times.
  • SparkLab is a timed ticketed experience. Choosing your preferred arrival time will reduce waiting times and provide an enjoyable experience for all visitors.
  • Your ticket entitles you to enter SparkLab from your session start time displayed on your ticket. 
  • Your ticket must be presented at the SparkLab entry on Level 1 to be validated for entry.
  • If you are an Annual Pass holder, you must present your Annual Pass card and one form of ID upon entry to be validated for entry to SparkLab.

 QTIX

All Queensland Museum tickets are available through our ticketing provider, QTIX. By purchasing a ticket you agree to the QTIX Ticketing Terms and Conditions. For more information please click here
 

Health Care Cards holders

If you have purchased a Health Care Card ticket to an exhibition/event, please have your valid Australian Government issued ‘Health Care’ or ‘Health Card’ ready to show staff.
