If you are attending a ticketed experience at the museum, please be aware of this important information.

Terms & Conditions

If you are purchasing a ticket or season pass to Queensland Museum, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:


All Queensland Museum tickets are available through our ticketing provider, QTIX. By purchasing a ticket you agree to the QTIX Ticketing Terms and Conditions. For more information please click here

Annual Pass holders

If you have purchased or booked a ticket to an exhibition/event using your Queensland Museum Annual Pass, please have your valid Annual Pass card ready to show staff. For information on becoming an Annual Pass holder please visit our website

Season Pass purchases

Season Passes holders must present their pass with photo ID to staff at entry Disney: Magic of Animation on Level 3 on each visit. Bookings are not required, however during peak times Season Pass holders may need to queue for a short time before entry.

Season Passes are only valid for exhibition entry from 24 June 2022 – 22 January 2023 and cannot be used for events or other exhibitions. Season Passes are not transferrable to others or redeemable for cash.

  • SparkLab is a timed ticketed experience. Choosing your preferred arrival time will reduce waiting times and provide an enjoyable experience for all visitors.
  • Your ticket entitles you to enter SparkLab from your session start time displayed on your ticket. 
  • Your ticket must be presented at the SparkLab entry on Level 1 to be validated for entry.
  • If you are an Annual Pass holder, you must present your Annual Pass card and one form of ID upon entry to be validated for entry to SparkLab.

Health Care Card holders

If you have purchased a Health Care Card ticket to an exhibition/event, please have your valid Australian Government issued ‘Health Care’ or ‘Health Card’ ready to show staff.

Companion Card holders

If you have a Companion Card holder ticket to an exhibition/event, please have your valid Queensland Government issued ‘Companion Card’ ready to show staff.

Third Party Resellers

QTIX and Eventbrite are the official ticketing service for Queensland Museum exhibitions and events. Any tickets purchased through unauthorised sales channels may be seized or cancelled without refund or exchange and the bearer of the ticket may be denied admission. Unauthorised sales channels include Viagogo, eBay and Gumtree.
