Etymology: ‘Ring-tailed’.
Snout-vent length: To 80 mm.
Distribution: Narrowly restricted to Bulburin State Forest on the Dawes Range and Many Peaks Range, south-eastern Queensland.
Habitat: Rainforest.
Conservation status: Vulnerable, Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service.
