Biographical Info: 

Gilbert joined the QM palaeontology section in 2000 where he completed his honours degree on the taxonomy of Diprotodon, the world’s largest marsupial. Having received a First Class honours, Gilbert received a postgraduate award and is currently working towards a PhD on Pleistocene faunas on the Darling Downs.
