Biographical Info: |
Andrew Amey completed his PhD at the University of Queensland, studying the reproductive biology of the bearded dragon (Pogona barbata). He is a Collection Manager/Research Assistant in the Biodiversity section, specialising in reptiles and frogs. He is responsible for registration of new specimens and maintenance of the Vertebrate database. His research interests include taxonomy of skinks, dragon biology, frog physiology and behaviour. Recent publications include reproductive endocrinology and morphology of the bearded dragon and a key to the skink genera of Australia.
