DSc, PhD, Professor Emeritus; Fellow of the Linnean Society of London; Fellow of the Australian Institute of Biology; Research Associate, Geology Department; Honorary Research Associate of the Queensland Museum.

Biographical Info: |
After graduating Trevor proceeded to England for study and thence to Nigeria where he taught in Agriculture for three years before coming to Queensland where he taught Botany for 34 years at the University of Queensland. On his retirement from the University the Senate conferred upon Trevor, Professor Emeritus. For the past seven years he has been a Research Associate attached to the Geology Section of the Queensland Museum studying the fossil plant collection.
To date Trevor has published about 30 books (including book chapters) and about 200 research papers. These deal with a diversity of topics but most are aimed at elucidating taxonomic or geological problems bearing on evolutionary processes.
