Insects are the most numerous and diverse part of Queensland’s fauna. The Entomology section documents this fauna by collecting, preserving and describing insects. We have over 500 000 specimens with important collections of rainforest insects and parasitic wasps. Our collections enable us to provide valuable information on environmental and agricultural issues.
