This 432-page, full-colour guide is a comprehensive introduction Moreton Bay and its surrounding coastal fringe - to its plants, habitats, birds and marine life. It is a book for everyone who appreciates and enjoys Moreton Bay.

Published by the Queensland Museum with the support of the Natural Environment Branch of the Brisbane City Council and the port of Brisbane Corporation.

Provided here are updates and corrections to published information; a full taxonomic listing including higher classification and author and date citations for all species; and an extensive bibliography to all aspects of the fauna, flora, and physical environment, past and present, of Moreton Bay.
