Full size - 20 cent piece; leg diameter - pin. Abdomen small, flat, triangular to heart-shaped with white circles; front legs with strong spines;spikes going sideways from front of head
Habitat
Gardens, trees, shrubs, clothes lines. Most prevalent summer. Australia-wide

Nip and run, held in. Mild local pain for about 30 minutes; forms red welt and heat.
