Identification
Full size hand plus; leg diameter at mid-point - letter "O". Long yellow and black legs.

Habitat
Warm moist areas - gardens, trees, paths. Most prevalent summer. Eastern Australia.

Web
Strong orb web; about 1 m; strung between trees, around sunny parts of buildings. Strong golden silk. Large web often traps small animals like Silvereyes.

Bite
Only if forced.
