Identification
Large, fat. Full size - 50 cent piece or later; leg diameter - matchstick. Abdominal pattern highly variable - paired white dots to central brown, yellow or rusty red stripe. Deep red hariy head, hairy legs.

Habitat
Trees, shrubs, eaves of houses. Most prevalent summer. Eastern Australia.
