HMS Sandwich ("Holding ship")
- Robert Brown (pressed by HMS Champion, from London?) - A strong case can be argued that he is Harry, as he was one of the carpenter's mates - so he may have been trapped below decks while attempting to repair damage to the hull before the ship sank.
- William Carter (pressed by HMS Champion, from a "Greenland ship", a whaler)
- William Dedworth (pressed by HMS Champion, from The Fountain of Kings Lynn)
William Cray (volunteered, on HMS David, from Orkney) - Possibly too young to be Harry.
- Martin Maysoner (volunteer, on HMS Sandwich, from Feversham, Kent)
HMS Richard (tender)
- Samuel Hammond (volunteer, from Whitby)
- William Lyon(s) (volunteer)
HMS Royal William
- Alexander Arbuthnott (pressed by HMS Richard, from Yarmouth)
- William Skelton (pressed by HMS Richard, from Yarmouth)

A reliable determination of some of the crew's ages may only be possible if relevant details appear in the muster lists kept for the various ships the men served in before being entered into Pandora's books. Alternatively, as a number of the Pandora's men are known to have been pressed, or to have "volunteered", research will be useful to find extant registers or lists kept of impressment and/or volunteer recruitment for the Navy during 1790 (the so-called "Spanish Armament" or the "Nootka Controversy").
When this research is complete, it should be possible to eliminate more names from the list. But until such time, it will be assumed that Harry is most likely one of the four listed petty officers, as the ordinary and able seamen were most likely in their late teens or early twenties. This does not imply, however, that the other two petty officers (Grimwood or Rodrick) should be entirely ruled out, nor should the names of all the other men. Gradual progress is being made.
