Identification:

  • Head rounded; thick, fleshy skin between the eyes and shoulders
  • Back green (sometimes brown when resting), white belly
  • Back of thighs yellow to maroon
  • Adults about 100 mm

Habitat and range:

  • Various habitats, but not rainforest; around houses and buildings, shelters in toilets, pipes, etc.
  • Abundant in northern and eastern Australia
