Thanks to Australia Post, six-year-old Ayr student Rachael Turiano from St Francis School will be sending letters to friends and family with her own stamp attached.

Rachael's painting (pictured right), inspired by the Dinosaurs and Muttaburrasauras loan kits borrowed from the Museum of Tropical Queensland, has been chosen as the winner of the term four 2008 Stamp Competition staged in partnership with Australia Post and the Queensland Museum.

Rachael has won a personalised set of stamps featuring her winning painting. St Francis School also received the semester two major prize. The prize pack includes a multi-function device from Australia Post as well as Queensland Museum merchandise including the best-selling Wild Guide series, Scholastic children's books, plush toys and educational games.
