Queensland Museum Education

The Queensland Museum has developed a range of unique resources and learning opportunities for students from pre-school to university, as well as for teachers and the general public. Diverse and informative public programs are offered at each of the museum campuses and include ‘hands-on’ workshops, fun-filled activity sessions, special-interest talks and in-service presentations for teachers. On-line and downloadable resources for teachers and students and other lifelong learners include digital stories, interactive games and resource sheets which highlight the work of museum staff and the state collections. Artefacts and resource kits can be borrowed from Queensland Museum loans that support and extend public learning.  A wide range of questions about social history and wildlife are handled by expert staff from the inquiry-centre.
