Queensland Museum is this exhibition’s only Australasian venue.

A millennium of European history is represented through diverse artefacts, exploring the lives, loves and lore of the Medieval era. Objects provide clues into the social systems and trade, values and beliefs and the language of symbols.

An exhibition preview affords the opportunity to assess ways this exhibition can best meet the needs of teachers and learners.

Present your name, contact details and proof of current teacher registration at the Medieval Power exhibition entry. Admission is at the discretion of staff and entry may be delayed at peak times.

How to book

School bookings are available for schools as well as home school networks of 10 or more students and groups of children up to 15 years. 

Schools and groups can choose from 4 x 1-hour sessions. Sessions are available for a maximum of 50 students. If you have more than 50 students visiting on the same day, please select multiple sessions. Larger groups are invited to manage these rotations by including a Museum "General Visit" or booking a School Program.

Complete the School Booking Form online or phone (07) 3840 7608. The Queensland Museum Schools Booking Officer is available from 8:15am to 3:30pm, Monday - Friday.

Cost

Entry to Medieval Power: Symbols & Splendour is $10 per student/child (GST free). Supervising adults admitted free within our recommended ratios. Additional adults will be charged at the concession price of $19 per adult. For your convenience, you will be invoiced for payment after your visit.

  • 10 students (Year 7-10)
  • 15 students (Year 11 and above)
