Queensland Museum and Queensland College of Art Design department have teamed up to develop and exhibit a very current and conscious conversation around electronic waste in E-WASTE [RE]BOOTED.

We are surrounded by electronic items – we use them every day. But, what happens to our TV if it breaks? What happens to our working mobile phone when we upgrade to a newer model? Is there another life for our unwanted electronic devices?

Design students from QCA, Griffith University have consulted and collaborated across multiple design disciplines to create an immersive, interactive and sensory e-waste experience for all ages. Enter the e-waste journey and challenge your existing thoughts on electronic waste and our ability to repurpose, repair and reuse.
