National Science Week Event 

Unravel the rich connection between Indigenous Culture and the Brisbane River through a unique performance from students from Hymba Yumba. Exploring 'river as transport', 'river as recreation', 'river as survival/food' and 'river as ceremonial/traditional'; an interpretation of stories from Elders about the past present and future of the Brisbane River.

Elders, family and all visitors are invited to participate as students perform along a river environment in Dandiiri Maiwar, bringing the space to life with stories that interweave science and culture

Hymba Yumba is a Springfield school built around Indigenous values that caters for crèche to year 12.
