Brisbane Open House 2013

Have you ever wanted to know what happens behind the scenes at Queensland Museum? Have an exclusive sneak peek as Queensland Museum unlocks the collection store doors - for Brisbane Open House.

The Museum is like an iceberg with most of the objects hidden from view. On Saturday 12 October, we’re opening our doors for free 30 minute ‘teaser’ tours that will take visitors to two select spaces within our Natural Environments Collections and our Cultural Environments Collections. Get a taste of what happens in a museum and catch a glimpse of some of the millions of specimens and objects in the Queensland Museum State Collection.
