Come and explore some of the skulls and skeletons from the mammal collection. View skulls up close, discover how skeletons are prepared and learn more about the specimen preparation process.

Speak with Heather Janetzki (Collection Manager) and Shelley Smith (Taxidermist) about their work in preparing and preserving these mammal skeletons.

The skulls and skeletons explored in this activity are part of the 20 000 specimens in the Natural Environments mammal collection. The mammal research collection includes skulls and skeletons from Queensland, Australia and overseas, along with study skins and display specimens.

This activity is part of Queensland Museum's celebration of National Science Week.
