Behind the Scenes Tour: Natural Environments

This event has now SOLD OUT. You can register your interest in the next Behind the Scenes Tour by calling (07) 3840 7555.

All creatures great and small make their way into our Natural Environments collections, where our scientists care for and study the material evidence of Queensland’s natural history.

Specimens on display include those that span the entire animal kingdom: from tiny single-cell protozoans to blue whales; from items collected last week to others collected 150 years ago; and from living species to those that are now extinct.

This guided tour takes you behind the scenes for a unique chance to see the priceless collections up close and learn more about how we store and look after these precious objects and specimens.
