Join us for a unique chance to see our priceless collections up close and learn more about how we store and look after these precious objects and specimens.

Cultures & Histories collection tour

Join a tour of the Cultures & Histories collection, where our team of expert staff undertakes research into Queensland’s cultural heritage. We collect and care for items that represent the history of the state and demonstrate what sets us apart. You’ll visit areas reserved for our expert staff and see incredible cultural artefacts and objects reflecting Queensland and Australian History, Archaeology, Aboriginal (pre-historic and historic) and Queensland History.

When: Tours are operated on the third Saturday of each month.
Time: Cultures & Histories Tours start at 2:00 pm. Bookings are essential.
Cost: $35 Adults, $15 Child (7-15) Suitable for children over 6
