Become immersed in this intriguing era with our series of themed weekends.
Explore or experience all things Medieval, from facts and fiction to fashion and folklore.
Community experts and enthusiasts present a diverse range of free experiences to help 'throw a little light' on the Dark Ages.

Theatre talks are available for adults, while visitors of all ages can enjoy demonstrations of topics from combat to cosmetics.

Demonstrations: 11:00am - 12:00pm and 2:00pm - 3:00pm
Talks: 12:30pm - 1:30pm

This weekend features:

TALKS:
Engaging, lively and informative talks are delivered in the Queensland Museum theatre, Level 2 (space limited).
Each talk includes visuals and concludes with an opportunity to ask questions. Suitable for ages 15+.

DEMONSTRATIONS:
Visitors of all ages can participate in interactive drop in/out sessions. Learn more by getting up close while our Guest Presenters invite you to travel back in time with opportunities to touch, dress, dance and more.
