Volunteering
Volunteers play an important role at QM. We engage volunteers at all of our museums and in many different programs from visitor services to research. Our volunteers enhance our programs beyond the skills and resources of staff and are greatly valued.

Work experience & vocational placements
Work experience and vocational placements at the Queensland Museum aim to provide students with an opportunity to:
- relate their studies to the workplace
- prepare for the demands and expectations of the working world
- make more informed career decisions by assessing their aptitudes and interests.
